St. John the Baptist offers weekly grade-specific Faith Formation classes for children in grades K through 8 who are not enrolled in Catholic school. The purpose of these sessions, which are taught by teams of volunteer catechists, is to supply each student with an increasing understanding of the basic tenets of our faith.

Faith Formation for all Grades K-8 is in person in School on Sunday 10:10-11:20 a.m.

Tuition 

*Separate Registration Form and additional $150 fee for Confirmation materials.
Make checks payable to St. John the Baptist. Complete both sides of Registration/Emerg Contact Form. Return all to Parish Office. Tuition supports only part of the program cost. The rest is subsidized by regular envelope collections.

**If you are not registered at St. John’s we will need a letter of permission from your pastor to attend these classes.

Fees for the First Reconciliation Prep and the First Eucharist Prep Programs are $75/program/child. First Reconciliation (Sacrament of Penance) must be received before First Eucharist (Holy Communion). To register your child for these Sacraments, please call the Parish Office: 301-622-1122.

Families are encouraged to attend Mass together. To register your child for Faith Formation Classes, call the Parish Office at 301-622-1122 or download the registration forms, complete them, then submit them to the Parish office with payment.
